I don’t like Jill Biden but

The Angel reese response to the Jill biden comments is twisted. I can’t align myself with her despite my allegiance to LSU.
Biden is an idiot and her invitation to Iowa was stupid. It’s clearly political imo. She didn’t want to piss off a critical electoral state. It wasn’t racial as Reese implies.
Also, Reese stated that the same invite would not be extended to LSU if Iowa had won. She’s reacting to an assumption! It’s literally a bogeyman that doesn’t exist but only in her mind.
Then she goes on to say that that Biden’s comments about “sportsmanship” were in response to Reese’s behavior after the game . Reese is behaving Like this is all about her.
IMO Reese has a strong racial bias and the spotlight has gone to her head. She talks out of her arse, trying to make this all about her and kill the moment for her team mates.

By inviting both teams, it waters down LSU's win.

It's awesome to be pumped about LSU winning everything, but I wouldn't attach my wagon fully to Angel Reese either. She was excessive in the you can't see me and her virtue signaling to little black girls acting too hood, ratchet and ghetto is not exactly the greatest look for LSU either. I know she's young, but that just wasn't a first-class thing especially doing it excessively since the game is over. Now as for the Jill thing, you are spot on with the political angle.

agreed = it would have been OK to just say - "no thanks" but to tie it to racism rather than stupidity is bassackwards

That's not the point. We all understand that the tradition is to invite the winner only. The point is, was the suggestion to do something different MOTIVATED BY RACE??? Was it motivated by any animus of any kind or was it just an off-the-cuff expression of an appreciation for how both teams played???
I'm sure there are some very nice people on that LSU team but some of the head bitches have some odious chips on their shoulder.

It’s more than what jill said or the invitation, biden also had LSU at or near bottom of his bracket. So it plays into the whole lack of respect thing. Part of the feeling likely transcends Reese, LSU and everything and echoes the lack of respect that players in WBB feel from not getting nearly as much attention as men’s sports. I can understand the frustration from them TBH.
