Valero somehow got delayed due to fog earlier today.

The ANWA should be fun on Saturday.

Interested to see who in LIV has good form coming into Augusta. Most LIV players odds right now are pretty poor compared to where I thought they would be.

According to strokes gained stats they are actually highly overvalued, as you mentioned coming in with good form, look at the 3 month column. It ain’t pretty

Day and Homa with the best value according to recent form

I’m moreso referring to guys like Talor Gooch who is somehow +325 to finish in the top 20. Abraham Ancer’s odds were surprisingly bad as well.

It’s just so hard to judge when they’re playing in glorified exhibitions instead of real tourneys.

The Masters is so unique that it is impossible to handicap except during Jack & Tigers run.

Just want to see a great Sunday finish regardless of the winner.

This is an incredibly bad take. They literally play the same course every year. Probably the easiest major to handicap because of that.

That being said it’s an Amazing tournament

I guess you don't know much about the Masters and it's history.

Augusta National changes the course every year.

The new tee box on 13 is moved back 35 yards into a chute, that's only one of the changes.

The speed of the greens is another.

The is always a rabbit that jumps out to the lead on Friday.

If you think it's so easy, jump out there and name the winner now.

Sigh. It’s never easy to name the winner of any golf tournament.

But Augusta is by far the easiest of all majors to handicap. It’s the same course, and it’s the weakest field in terms of depth at the bottom

The pga championship seems the hardest to handicap over the years. Think about it, guys like Keegan Bradley win the PGA, and they weren’t even in the masters field that year ….So instead of a player capable of winning a major adding to the depth of the field, a 59 year old previous champ plays instead. Now which one sounds harder to handicap?

Valero is turning into a crapshoot again. I’m hoping Rodgers reverts back to his mean this weekend. I would love to see the great shirtless Harry Higgs punch his ticket to Augusta.

Rose Zhang is collapsing a little bit at the ANWA.

I’m sure it’s gotta be difficult to handicap guys who don’t practice as much or play competitive golf anymore.

I don’t think it’s easy but easier than the other because it’s the same course.

Yes they change it sole but it’s still the same course.

This isn’t an argument it’s logic and I am correct because of, you know, logic.

ETA: this isn’t knocking the Masters it’s the best tournament of the year.

If a LIV player somehow wins the Masters, the meltdown from livpride87 will be an all-timer. Someone might need to call in medical help.

Why? DJ is one of my favorite players and would love to see him win

My biggest fear is smash face winning. He already ruined one Masters Easter Sunday

It’s easy compared to most of the other majors because the number of people that can win is significantly fewer at the Masters than any other major. Sometimes the US Open or PGA could be easier when it’s one of those tourneys with the narrow fairways and high rough but generally speaking the Masters is the easiest to predict because it’s at the same course with the fewest number of people who can win.

And it will gain popularity over time. Sports should be entertaining and fun. PGA is a bunch of stiffs. Golf, but louder. Every tourney is like Phoenix WM.

I’m not exaggerating.

LIV yesterday, in person, was an unmitigated disaster and the single most amateur hour event I’ve ever been to.

And I heard 40+ people talking about exactly that as I walked around. Maybe more.

I would confidently say 90% of the people there had a terrible experience and actively hate LIV now.

I had a blast, fwiw.
