Seeing some reports that it was a teenage female, which probably rules out the latter, but teenagers can be 18 or 19. This is likely someone trying to target affluent white Christians.
Probably a former student from a conservative (take Christmas photos with their assault rifles type family) that had bad things happen to her while she was there & chose to do this instead of dealing with her issues.

Yes you can. You can have someone be mentally evaluated which can then lead to them being committed if the evaluator deems him/her to be a verifiable threat. While it's not as easy as it once was (nor should it ever be that easy), it's still a process that exists.

Last report is 28 year old white female that was a former student of the school.
The school only goes to 6th grade, so that would have had to be 16 years ago. circa 2007 or earlier.

More like she became WOKE as she got older and now hates Christians. I see it all the the time - nice, cute girl next door type gets liberalized and comes out with crew cut, multiple body piercings, tattoos and grudge look. Hive mind. So a tranny. Great. Just reported on Fox that she went into the church first and killed the custodian. Sounds like it could have been worse.

Absolute truth.
I tell parents as they consider college to visit on full weekends so they can attend churches in the college town. When they start, make sure they get connected in a local church. An extra night at a hotel, a couple extra flights, etc. is much cheaper than your kid coming home at 22 hating every value you instilled in them.
Got a friend experiencing that now. Third of three children got woke in college. First two are incredibly successful, have started families and are involved in churches. The baby has moved back home - pushing 30 and refuses to work, sleeps until noon and stays up all night playing video games, and blames capitalism for his woes.
It's killing his dad. I can see the pain on his face when it comes up. It's put a strain on their marriage and is delaying their retirement.

because they were once part of that community and it effects them personally. you may not give a shite due to being a horrible a-hole, but others aren't like you and actually do. When I see someone say they grew up there or their parents live there or some other connection, then I empathize with their grief.
