If so, they might have screwed up big time. From what I understand reading the documentation from the registrar, the 5 day grace period only applies to new signatures and any signatures obtained prior to the original deadline would have had to go in the first batch to be considered.
“Signature dated before petitioner deadline” was one of the rejection reasons listed under “other.”

So they could blanket reject all of those additional signatures because they weren't on time?

Could be.
There’s a reality that we all know they didn’t get 30k signatures that week so we will see if they still audited and bounced a bunch for standard reasons and the rest “other” due to that

If this failed due to having plenty enough signatures but not being turned in on time... that is peak NOLA.
