French workers are a different breed. I worked in France for about 3 years. The engineers I worked with were smart and very hard working. The operators and maintenance folks would strike at the drop of a hat. Sometimes weird strikes like striking for 2 hours of an 8 hour shift.

My first trip into a French control room I encountered a poster that said management was the enemy.

I won't shed a tear. They voted for this. They had a chance to get rid of Macron and didn't.
