My cousin has one of these they have driven for 20 years. Still runs like a top.
You can thank the government for these trucks disappearing. That tough Nissan hardbody truck too. Safety standards doomed vehicles as reliable and simple as these.

Awesome truck...but it had the 22R-E...which is not the same as the 22R. The R-E was fuel injected...the R was carbureted.
This is what I drove in High School. 1982 Toyota with the 22R. The single walled bed sucked...but everything else was pretty awesome.

This is my dream truck and I acquired it last year. 1992 extended cab, 4x4, 5speed and 22RE. Best truck to ever do it!

Mine is a 91 with 22re.. over 250,000. Damn speedometer cable broke, otherwise perfect
