Under the old rules, I’d agree. But they changed up the September call ups and they cant call up the whole 40 man anymore.

ETA: but if he’s a Pirate, I will be making more trips to Pittsburgh. I enjoyed the shite out of that city last year. Saw Pujols hit a couple HRs too.

Thank you project and others. I'd also be thrilled if GD was given a real shot. I suppose alot of fluid pieces have to fall into place for him and whichever organization but I sure do wish him the best and look forward to seeing all the Tigers make this a memorable year for us.

I didn’t realize that. Had no idea the rules changed. Shows how much I pay attention to the MLB.

Dugas bleeds purple and gold and has given up his body by running into walls, diving, or straight up taking any pitch to any part of his body. Crews has matured this year and has delivered with runners in scoring position, but Dugas has done that at the biggest times in his career. The reality is Crews is a five tool player who may be the first overall pick, and deservingly so, but with the game on the line for LSU I’m still going with Dugas.

You have to be insanely good to make a major league roster. The worst player on the worst team is a baseball phenom.

I get it. I totally get it.

It goes both ways too. Only part i disagree with is this

quote:

Teams are terrified to pitch to Crews,
weak weak schedule we got maybe. Crews is getting nailed in conference if he is that dominant

I was really busy today so just in case it hasn’t been pointed out, Altuve was already a solid major league starter when he was the age Dugas is currently.

Not really the best comparison.

On that note, Juan Soto would not be the oldest player in the SEC.

By coming back he lost leverage but he will be drafted 8-10 rounds and give them hell

Going to be real hard to give Crews bases with the way the staff loads our lineup
