Needs to be top 50 in two weeks, currently 59th after a nice week at the Players, moving up 12 spots.

He was 185 in the world in Sept, since then he's gone

They should take a fan’s vote in and he would make it then.

He's surprised me, I was to the point where I thought he wouldn't be competitive ever again and probably go to LIV based on popularity alone. I'm glad he's turned it around, I hope he makes it. There are LIV players in front of him, Mito Pereira is actually sitting at 50 right now and I don't know if he's playing on any other tours events in the next two weeks so that might be one person he could easily jump just by making cuts.

It is all going to come down to the match play event since he isn't playing this week. If he doesn't do enough in the match play, his only hope is to win the Valero the week before the Masters.

Him and Jason Day are having a resurgence. If they show up in these non-elevated events with weaker fields they have a shot to win this year.

Well he better do well in the match play, because he's not winning anything just yet. I wonder why he's not playing this week. I'd play in every single tournament possible to try and get in.

I read earlier that the projection is he will need to get to the round of 8. Playing this week definitely would have made it easier. He's been playing a lot. I guess he values the week off more. Making it to the round of 8 in match play is no easy task.

Rooting for him. He's been getting better and better. It's more fun when Fowler is playing well.

But needs Rahm to beat Billy Boy, and it’s not looking good

Don’t understand him not going to the Valspar where there was a weak field not a long trip from his house.

Who would have thought that Rickie missing the masters would be bc Jon Rahm couldn’t beat Billy Horschel? He’s not completely dead yet, though. He could win the Valero next week to get in

Exactly which is why that rubbed me the wrong way and makes me wonder if the Masters is anywhere close to being as important to him as it is to his fans. If he made getting an invite to Augusta his prime objective, he shouldn't take a week off until it's a certainty he's in. Skipping last week was weak

There’s an even weaker field event next week at the Valero Texas Open.

I think his iron switch has helped him. Not playing those butter knives anymore.

But yet there are golfers on here that swear they can hit blades better, when Spieth is playing with T100’s
