Until the law in Fla changes, he would have to resign the governorship the very same day. You cant hold an office in Fla and run for a national office at the same time. Hes gonna piss off a lot of Floridians if he quits on them

There was an article today. He only has to resign the Florida Governorship if he is declared the republican nominee. So he can be a Governor and run at the same time.
The establishment has declared him in secret ink at an island meeting. But he will have to resign at the convention.
They want to change it that he only has to resign the Florida Governorship when he is inaugurated as President.
He will announce and say Jeanette Nunez will take the reins. But he doesn't have to move out of the Governors mansion until and if he is declared the nominee or inaugurated President.
