Mitch is all in for Trump's opponent. DeSantis would be nothing to Turtle except a convenient vehicle. If Trump's opponent is Xi Jinping, McConnell's all in. If it's Mullah Omar, McConnell's all in. If it's Pol Pot, McConnell's all in.
McConnell is self-interested scum. He hates Trump. More than anything, it has to do with Trump squeezing down on China. McConnell's father-in-law's company is a $1.2 billion US-Chinese shipping conglomerate. It's fortune is invested in US-China trade. If that falls off, so will the value of McConnell's inherited company.

And why shouldn’t he? Trump lacerated McConnell because McConnell would not join an insurrection to overthrow the 2020 election. If you believe the election was stolen by manipulation of Dominion voting machines, then Trump’s position seems reasonable. If you believe it was not, McConnell is the reasonable one. And what Trump was asking for was treason.
Trump called him names like a high school kid. Of course McConnell hates him. So does just about everyone else who has worked with Trump. He’s a giant a-hole.

The sad part is he's not the only one. Far too many people in the US Government have been bought by China.
We need to start manufacturing are own first and get away from them.
Donald Trump is one of the only people that is serious about this.
