We're about a year away from Progressives claiming that having darker skin is a disability.

???? - wtf??

Are you for rewriting all books that were written before 1864??

this is the kind of lazy-arse thinking that gets us into all kinds of screwed up policies.

Let adults sort thru trivialities and go on about their business - if someone is unable to cope with historical fact, then they need to be put into an asylum. Cannot have insentient bi-peds roaming amongst us.

Egypt is a strange case study, though. Because of the Nile's range, ancient Egyptians ranged from "Nubian" dark to ever so slightly dusky and everything in between. "Black" and "white" as we use them today are almost meaningless in that context.

Probably a reference to Afrikaners and similar groups in other sub-Saharan countries.

his larger “point” is silly, the use of this term is no stranger than “Irish American.“

Ephesians?

It’s hard to tell whether Paul and his disciples truly condoned slavery. They mentioned slaves obeying their masters, but I think it was about not rocking the boat so to speak. Do what you gotta do to stay alive because Jesus is about to come very soon during their lifetimes to raise them into heaven in new spiritual bodies.

You sure?
If so, explain the contemporary bias vs. dark skin within our African American population.

So, you think that social status in one subculture in America today is directly related to social status in another country, on another continent, some 4000 years ago? A country from which almost no elements whatsoever of American culture is derived, and among people that are not related genetically to almost any American alive today?

I don’t think Caucasian Europeans were documented in the Bible.

Modern scholarship is increasingly rejecting the slavery theory of pyramid construction. Sure, might have been some peripheral heavy labor by some slaves for short bursts at key moments, but the bulk of the construction was likely done by a small cadre of skilled artisans.
