Phew, thank God.
Tell me again - who is Larry Hogan?

Brett Baier was pimping this guy just last week. Sad days over at FNC.

Rats, would have been a bold strategy to flank the dems from the left.

Dozens of people are disappointed at this news. Dozens!!!

This is actually bigger news than we realize - helping Ron and hurting Trump.
Hogan knows, as we all do, if it's a 10+ person race, that helps Trump.
But if there's only a few nominees trump is toast as he cannot beat Ron one-on-one.

Key line here from @GovLarryHogan cuz it's on minds of Republicans thinking of running for prez, inclu those presumably more viable in GOP primary than Hogan: "..the stakes are too high for me to risk being part of another multicar pileup that could potentially help Mr. Trump.." twitter.com/GovLarryHogan/…

I do wonder what donors are telling the likes of Sununu, Hutchinson, and, until now, Hogan. It's evident many big names aren't signing up for Trump as they did before because they're waiting for DeSantis. But what are the also-rans being told? I hope we find out!

At least it’s nice to know that me and Larry Hogan had the same percentage of winning the presidency.

Agree. Hope the other clowns get the message. Already too crowded.

The more these losers line up against Trump, the stronger he becomes.

I'll pass since yours has failed so spectacularly.

The most popular governor in the United States. A two-term governor of the one of the bluest states in the nation. Someone who held a 70%+ approval rating. A moderate republican. Why do so many on here act like New England moderate GOP people are bad? Would you honestly rather far-left liberals instead like we will have now? The GOP has held the governorships of MD, VT and MA the past eight years and all are very popular. Hogan has a lot of great policies and has worked well with what he had to work with. He would be a solid VP for DeSantis.

I enjoyed my 2 seconds of laughter I got when the headline came saying a “prolific republican “ has chosen not to run. Hogan is not a prolific anything other than being a blow hard

Sensible decision. He would just spend a lot of money to get his arse kicked.

But not popular/influential enough to turn their states a different color. He might work well with the Dems in these states but all that tells me is one of two things - either his own reelection concerns are first and foremost with him or either he's more liberal than conservative with his politics which imo is a helluva gamble to take when running as a conservative republican. I don't think the mainstream republicans at this time want a left leaning candidate as the head of the party.
