In my kid brain between the giraffe and the included tattoos (those are toys right) I always thought they were made by Toys R Us

If balsa wood and chalk could be combined to make gum. It could also serve as a makeshift knife in a pinch.

In my HS years, grape bubble yum mixed with Levi Garrett chewing tobacco. The bubble were mind blowing.

Well, I liked to get Bazooka, for the little-bitty "Bazooka Joe" comic-strip inserts. The gum wasn't all that great, though. Double-Bubble was a bit better, as I recall.

Mostly recall seeing Wrigley's or Beech-Nut gum, at the grocery store. Not really a lot of variety in my corner of the woods.

Stick gum, I loved Black Jack best - then Juicy Fruit.
Bubble gum? I loved those gum cigars posted above here and the trick or treat gums you got as a kid, or from pillaging from my own kids.

Then there were the penny gumballs from those machines. A whole other world of gummy delight.
