You didn't really expect anything else did ya? Pitching is so much better. Defense playing great. Hitting will come around. This is a great game to get us ready for league play.

Holy shite this just makes me more excited. Didn’t get to see the game but pitching and defense put up a zero. Hell yeah I’m not worried about hitting at all. we will hit,the question was can we pitch and play D. Tonight we passed first test

OP has been drinking a lot of Jim Bean tonight, is miserable, (Had to borrow that Pump Limp MA expression) and starved for attention.

LSU beats Texas on the road in Austin and he's still complaining.

Pitching and defense have been just fine. I am worried that in the 2 games with Tier 1 pitching (Iowa and Texas) LSU has struck out 31 times. I hope they can iron that out.

OK, at this point name one team that is better? Name one team that has only one loss? I’m waiting.

There are numerous idiots on this board that keep saying LSU isnt #1 to which I have asked the same question you did.

Guess how many have given an answer....

Jim, you see these people starting threads about how fricking stupid LSU baseball fans are? They're everywhere, these threads.

They're talking about you, Jim. I just want you to know that. They're talking about you.

Not with the poor hitting and strikeouts…only a couple of players making contact

What about with midweek staff throwing a combined 4 hit shutout against a big time P5 school?

Is that #1 material

You can really tell the difference between a baseball fan and a football fan who casually likes baseball.

In college football, you can expect 99% of the time, the number one team will blow unranked teams off the field.

That’s not how college baseball works. That’s not how baseball works in general.
