I have seen the same and always have a good chuckle. I have some friends whos kids do this. They all walk around in the ridiculous glasses acting like they are Nolan Ryan and too cool to talk to us.

Like, you're 12 years old. Take your shades and hat off inside and look the grown ups in the eyes and say "thank you" for the food.
