Ive heard nothing but good things

Far more practical than most land yachts preferred by soccer moms that want to look good in the school pick up line.

Bought one 3 days ago. It's a great vehicle. Didn't like the cost. Is what it is.

Ex-wife drove a mid 2000's model. I hope they've improved the transmissions since then. When the transmission died, it 100% died with zero warning. Less than 100k miles when that happened.

If you buy a new one, drain and refill the transmission with Honda DW-1 every 50k miles.

Bought one over a year ago. We did have an issue with the side mirror falling out, but dealership ordered new one and replaced it. Our only issue so far.

Wife is 2019 owner. Issues with transmissions and apparently it is common. Richards Honda has looked at it several times and said computer just needed updating yet it will still shift hard sometimes and hesitate. They haven't been able to figure it out yet and looking online there are known issues. Do your research. Other than that the little fricker has been good.

Nice van but I vote Pacifica because of the stow and go middle seats and the non DI engine.

gonna give myself away with this story but oh well.

bought a 2019 elite in jan 2021. 19k miles. loved it!

fast forward to 3 weeks ago, it has been in the shop 9 times. most of it for warranty work but even still losing your van for multiple days at a time with 3 small kids is a problem.

did some research and found the 2017 odyssey was voted the most reliable. traded in the 2019 for the 2017 and they gave me 12k along with the van.

i think overall they are great vans, we just a lemon. will buy another in a few years and try our luck again.
