He's great at kick returns aswell

That's intriguing because I expect Rashid Shaheed to see more time at WR next season.

I would be concerned about his durability at that size but it's not unheard of for a little guy to making in the NFL.

I still think the Saints need a power pack that can pound the rock and soften up the defense for then watch Kamara feast in the 3rd and 4th.

You have to prep as if Kamara is not going to be there for at least 4 games I would assume, and not telling what time of the season that will fall in.

True.

Goodall has historically let the legal system playout before handing down his judgment. They have a hearing as early as next month and Kamara could be looking to take a plea deal if no jail is on the books just to get it over with. I don't think the prosecution would really want to need to bring Kamara to trial as he wasn't the main players, though he's obviously the biggest fish.

If thats plays out hopefully Goodall will have his decision long before the season starts. but yea, you have to plan on him not being available to start the season.

I'm thinking if it doesn't get a plea deal before the start of the season, his attorney will kick the can down the road until after the 2024 season. To your point, I don't see Goodell just arbitrarily suspending him mid-season without a resolution.

I think a big tell for a plea deal will be a contract restructure. Because of the cap situation, look for him to rework his deal to get league minimum and minimize his lost salary. This should save at least $7M.

I think we need a bigger more physical RB to pair with Kamara.

Rashid Shaheed, Olave and Kamara give you enough speed and elusiveness.

I think we need a Bijan Robinson, Tank Bigsby, Zach Charbonnet, Zach Evans or Kendre Miller type RB. Although I’d also take Tyjae Spears, Deuce Vaughn, Achane or Gibbs as well.

This is a deep draft for RBs.

treat it like we dont have a RB

kamara will be another MT13, so they should try to redo his contract like they did with MT so its easier to cut him, then he can go join payton in denver since this coaching staff is clueless how or when to use him

I don't think Kamara will turn into Thomas type situation. Kamara has genuinely been all in for this organization. He gets banged up but he's a RB and iirc he hasn't used his injuries as a excuse to ride the pine and talk crap about the team. I think he's been pretty active in the community as well.

Not sure RB is a big priority until we patch Oline and get a QB.

I’d just draft in round 4 and sign a veteran in FA.

We draft RB in rounds 3 to 5, cut him before camp. He goes on to sign with a NFC team and has a productive NFL career.

If Bijon or Gibbs is there at 29 draft one of them. Especially if we don't draft QB in first round. If we are going with Dalton or Carr at QB in 2023 we need a stud RB to pair with them in the backfield..

Neither Gibbs Or Bjon will fall to Saints pick in second round.

Tyjae not a stud?? And Tyjae is a complete RB, does everything well, pass catching, running, blocking, etc.
