Has anyone been, any can't miss things to do there? Will be there for a few days in March.

PC is probably my least favorite place I've traveled to. Still enjoyed it though. Try to get out for a day trip to go visit the ancient tribes that live on islands and worship albinos. Pretty cool and the mountains to get there are awesome

Do a canal tour and/or jungle tour. Get a high rise hotel with roof top bar, just enjoy the view of the Pacific at sunset.
Granted, it’s been 35 years since I’ve been there. The city was awesome. I’m not sure if the PDF (Panamanian Defense Force) are still the ruling cops, but they were crooked as shite back then.

I thought it was great when I was there in 1996. The architecture of the Casco Antiguo area reminds me more of the French Quarter than anywhere else that I've been. Watching ships go through the Canal is, of course, great -- as is the Canal's museum.
There's certainly no other city in the world that has a downtown full of skyscrapers that's also less than 30 minutes away from virgin rainforest, but that's because the rainforest on both sides of the canal is what feeds the Canal, and the Canal is the economic engine of the entire nation.
So, if you're renting a car, drive out to Sobernia National Park, about 30 minutes from the downtown and walk one of the main trails such as Pipeline Road (the most famous). I hiked Plantation Road and saw all kinds of awesome animals, such as blue morpho butterflies, stunning hummingbirds, trogons, toucans, and white-faced monkeys. If you're not renting a car, you can take a taxi, but then you'll need to set a time to get picked up, so you'll have to keep an eye on your watch when you hike.

March is not the rainy season, so that’s nice. The canal museum is well done. I would take a daytime tour of 1/2 the canal and not the whole thing—takes too long.
The open market is “ok”.
One thing-Panama City is pretty dirty. Don’t expect a sleek US city.

I stop here on my way to Boca Del Toro. It's ok. The canal is really cool, but that was about it for me. I thought the bars were ok, but am only there for a night each time I go.

They closed Club La Villa and it has become a very boring place to visit

We had a company trip. We played golf a few days, toured the canal. The inclusive resort was ok. Unless you have your heart set on going I’d look at other options

Spent one day on a layover and only thing I did was the Panama Canal. If my memory serves me right it's about three hours or a little more if you want to see a ship passing through.
