I haven’t had as many strong episodes as I did when younger.
When trying to fall asleep at night, sometimes will close my eyes in the completely dark room and focus on the distant images that appear. These images will occasionally become clear enough to see faces or pictures. However not clear enough to recognize what I’m looking at.

I had epilepsy as a child/teenager and I experienced strange deja vu proceeding seizures. Now, on rare occasion I get the sense of deja vu and it freaks me out because I don’t want to seize as an adult/mom. Mine was the type you allegedly outgrow but I also only had them in my sleep… so I’ll never know if I have one.

Haven't had exactly what OP is describing, but I have had very intense deja vu during which I could actually "remember" what happens next. For example, the deja vu hits, I become aware of what's happening, and then as I'm thinking "and then the doorbell rang", the doorbell rings. Or as the deja vu hits, I "remember" what a person is about to say.
That shite is freaky. Random flukes of brain processing don't explain "remembering" something before it happens.

Used to all the time

Started having them a few years ago. Simple partial seizures. Dr put me on Vimpat and it seems to work really well. Mine are usually an indicator that I will be having a bad migraine later.
Dejavu feeling. I sense a unique smell when I am about to have one. Heart races. Get real anxious. Then when it’s over I’m usually really tired the rest of the day.
