The first Playboy Club opened in Chicago in 1960, followed by Miami and New Orleans in 1961.

My dad gave me a wine glass with the Playboy Bunny on it that he got when he went, I'm guessing before I was born.

I got to eat there in 1970 with my dad. The highlight was getting to pat the bunny’s tail. Then got to stay at the hotel in Ocho Rios with my grandmother. Vacation with grandma isn’t great, but the bunnies were.
I wish I could have done it 10-15 years later, when I could appreciate it in its fullest.

The playboy docuseries on Prime goes in depth on the clubs and why they were incredibly successful.

Weird, women today are bigger whores than ever, yet these clubs wouldn't be allowed today because it has "boy" in the name.

A girl I graduated high school with’s mother worked there as a bunny. She was also a Saints cheerleader before they were called Saintsations. I still see her at Saints games today.

There was a short-lived Playboy Club TV series about 15 yrs ago. When it was on a NO TV station did a piece on the club.

LINK - Features an interview w/bunny and playmate Laura Misch

Misch later became a newspaper reporter and novelist. HERE is her classic remembrance of old NO in the wake of Katrina.

Her article was well written, you might say it was the tits, and hers were exceptional, bordering on spectacular.
