Stay near the river. The food is great. There’s a castle and grounds to walk. We hired a private driver and did a day trip to Ronda. Loved it and loved Seville.

It's a fantastic city.
Would highly recommend booking tickets for the Alcazar in advance with a timed ticket. You can skip the line that way. Same with the Setas. We went to the Setas in the morning but it's supposed to be spectacular at sunset and in the evening.
L'Oca Giuliva is one of the best Italian restaurants we've been to including in Italy.
Depending on how much time you have in Andalusia, we really enjoyed the day trip to Gibraltar. Ronda is spectacular. Marbella is beautiful, but overrun with British tourists. I would highly recommend doing the Caminito del Rey which is near Ronda.
We rented a car while we were there and once you are out of the city centers, the infrastructure is fantastic and largely empty.

I love Sevilla! One of my favorites!
DEFINITELY do the Architecture/rooftop tour of the Gothic Cathedral! A totally cool and stunning experience.
Also spend an afternoon at the Arabic Baths.

I much preferred Seville to Barcelona and Madrid.
Try and catch a Soccer match if you are there during the season. They have two teams(Seville and Real Betis). If you are there at the weekend one of them will be playing at home.

I was just there for a couple of days less than a week ago.
Stayed at the Querencia de Sevilla, a Marriott boutique hotel right on the corner of Plaza de San Francisco, which is a great location and the hotel has a nice rooftop bar to catch the sunset.
We did the Cathedral and the palace and tried to go to the bullring but got there too late. Caught a flamenco show at the Museum of Flamenco. I actually enjoyed it.
The Plaza de Espana is worth a look and is a short walk from the palace. We were there on a Sunday and there was a flamenco performance going on.
Food was excellent. If you like pastries definitely try La Campana. The two tapas places we ate at were very good. We’d get full, have a good bottle of wine and the bill would be between 50-60 Euros.
Heard good things about the neighborhood La Tirana but didn’t make it there.
I’d upload some pics but I took a digital camera and haven’t downloaded them yet. We really enjoyed our time there.

Spent a few days there just wandering around enjoying tapas and wine. La Brunilda was one of the best meals of my life, we got in line early and enjoyed drinks while we waited
