The Rio has a seafood buffet that has king crab and lobster tails. It also has the Rio Carnival buffet that the locals consistently vote best in town.

Best restaurant in town depends on what you're looking to eat. My must do restaurant is Lotus of Siam. It is the best Thai restaurant I've ever been too.

Best buffet is at the Bellagio. It's pricey but well worth it.

Hit up Burger Bar one night. It's between Mandalay and Luxor. You won't be sorry.

Actually it's in Mandalay Bay. And it is very good.

Actually it's in the mall that connects Mandalay and Luxor. Right next to Fat Tuesdays.

Best buffet I went to was at the Bellagio... best restaurant deal (for amazing steaks) was at the Ellis Island Casino, off the strip... check out their website-- prices and food quality are incredible!

15 years ago, I'd say Rio World Carnival Buffet was the best..

Today, I'd say Bellagio, followed by Wynn, and the Sunday Brunch at Bally..

Crab legs are available at all of them.

Bellagio has a great buffet, but the "Spice Market" in Planet Hollywood has an interesting selection and good quality too.

The Ellis Island steak special is good for the price, but it's not on the menu - you just have to ask for it. Good, but I wouldn't say "amazing."

If you're looking for burgers and not stuck on the strip, you might try one of the chains that we don't have in these parts, particularly "In n' out burger." Some very good stuff.

Having said that, I've heard good things about Burger Bar too, but haven't tried it.

Spice Market in Planet Hollywood is solid, and has a weird mix of cuisines, including a solid Middle Eastern bar, great fruit bar, and really good crepes. My friends and I stayed there two years in row recently, and hit it up in the morning.

It always grades out as Vegas best for the price.

While not in Vegas the best casino buffet I have ever had was at Harrahs in Reno. 12 dollars for a buffet that included Kobe NY Strip steaks (likely American Kobe) While Reno is mostly a shithold that is a good stop on the way to Lake Tahoe it does offer some of the old Vegas style pricing that Vegas now lacks.

I wouldn't say it is the best but there is an Italian place behind the Flamingo. I think it is called the Hole in the Wall. They have free wine w/ every meal and the food is really good.

Stay away from any buffet associated with a casino that has the name "Gold", "Coast", or "Nugget."

Harrah's has a decent buffet for the price, but doesn't compare to the Rio or Bellagio as far as quality and quantity.

Whatever hotel you are staying at should have a decent in-house restaurant, but Bellagio, Wynn, Mandalay, Caesars, and Venetian have the most high quality offerings. You can't go wrong.
