Deion couldn’t win the HBCU championship with a clear talent advantage. You just don’t go from coaching the Under Armor All-American Bowl to being an elite coach. Will be similar but worse than Jimbo bringing in the best of all time class of money-seeking, where’s the party, recruits which contained only a handful of guys dedicated to working their arse off.

Wouldn’t compare the two…whether folks believe Sanders will win or not, can’t take character shots. By all accounts, from those whom have been on the inside and an outside perspective, players play for Deion and he builds with character in mind. Hunter could have easily went to Georgia in the off-season, but chose to carry on with Deion. Jimbo is simply throwing cash with nothing else in mind and it’s showing in his failure of a program. LSU will be fine and finish in the top 5 with or without Johnson.

I think folks are missing the point on CU and football in general. The name of the game today is recruiting. There are good position coaches readily available. The head coach should recruit good players and turn them over to a good staff. We are not LSU because Ed or Les could coach them up.
If Colorado gets a good staff and Sanders stays out their way, they’ll be fine. But those are huge “if’s”
