The Last of Us S1 E4 “Please Hold My Hand” GAME SPOILER THREAD

Figured I’d start this one early and get some predictions in on what’s going to happen. Looks like we’re getting some expansion on the hunters from Pittsburgh, probably won’t be meeting Henry and Sam until the end of the game. Definitely can’t wait for the scene where Joel kills the shite out of everyone after the crash

So its time to move the bitching to another thread I see

No gay sex in E4? I'm not watching.

Are these two men holding hands? Should let everyone know beforehand so they don’t waste their time watching and starting a million threads about it. JK they would hate watch it and start threads anyway.

I should have known better than to try to watch an HBO series. I’m out.

Are we skipping Pittsburgh?

Are they replacing Henry and Sam?

I think so

No, they should appear in this episode or the next

Last episode was too over the top for me. Was watching with my wife and oldest every week and they were excited about it. No one's mentioned the show at all since last week outside of talking about how gross it was. I'm certainly not going to be pushing them to watch today.

KC is replacing Pittsburgh, we still get the hunters and Henry and Sam just in a different city

Gotcha, wonder what the reasoning behind the change of city is. Not that it really matters.

So it is assumed this series will be done after season 2 Since that game ends on part 2 or will they stretch it out?

TLOU3 game is already in production iirc. The second game has enough content to stretch over multiple seasons...and tbh, if done correctly, so does the first game.
All this being said, unless Bella Ramsey suddenly learns how to act, I can't see her carrying this show by herself if they adhere to the story of TLOU2.

First season has been confirmed to be the entire first game. Second game will likely be two seasons

Welp, someone needs to start coaching Bella Ramsey.

Is this an example of “virtue signaling”?

That’s incorrect.

Could be a narrative decision to spread the events of trip out across the country a bit better. The game basically skips from Pittsburgh to Wyoming IIRC which always seemed a little odd to me.
