I did not SAY that he ran the stop light or a stop sign at THIS intersection. It seems more likely that SOMETHING happened earlier and offscreen for THIS security camera.

You struggle to grasp the difference between "defending" the attacker and seeking an explantion for his behavior. FYI, prosecutors tend to have a higher success rate when they are able to provide the jury with a coherent motive for criminal actions.
