Most of you think he's being contrarian, he's not. Hes not capable of seeing common sense answers. Only half the spectrum is available for him.

they heard the suspect uttering racial slurs about "white privilege."
So, he said this, and purposely ran over the guy, but we don't have a motive.
lolol..

Roger, you are the sort of person who thinks it is entirely "reasonable" to jump to the conclusion that a Black man was just randomly overcome with racial hatred to the extent of seeing a given White man for the first time ever and then attacking that man and killing him with his bare hands.
I see that sort of reaction as being unlikely, so I consider other possibilities.
In my experience, Blacks do not randomly attack White bystanders, screaming "White privilege." Generally, confrontations arise when the White person does something (usually completely innocuous) that the Black person INTERPRETS as an indication of "White Privilege" ... perhaps such as running a stop sign or cutting-off someone in traffic.
You be you, and I am QUITE content to "be me."

No, but i'm literate enough to read the story in the OP, and smart enough to wait until I did, unlike you.

It is an interesting question, certainly. But we don't really know enough to draw definitive conclusions at this point.
False. There is plenty of evidence in the form of video and witnesses to draw a fact based conclusion. But your mind makes up events that actually are shown by the evidence to be false (he didn't run the stop light) and just feel compelled to spew forth you support defense of the guilty.
You need to take a look at yourself and think deeply about why you feel compelled to dream up scenarios where the guilty at least has an shitty excuse for the evil they did.
We can all agree I hope that running down a bicyclist for race reasons it evil.
Yet you run to the defense of the evil... EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Evidently. Everything you've said here is wrong, and was in the OP.
I suppose emoticons work better for you.

Again, you think the motorist just "saw Whitey," lost control and flew into a murderous rage at the mere sight of skintones low in melanin. I see that as unlikely.
quote:You struggle to grasp the difference between "defending" the attacker and seeking an explantion for his behavior. FYI, prosecutors tend to have a higher success rate when they are able to provide the jury with a coherent motive for criminal actions.
you support defense of the guilty.
quote:Agreed, if that is the precipitating event. Can we also agree that it is "evil" to attack and kill someone for a minor traffic infraction, if THAT is determined to have been the precipitating factor?

My only question is whether "race" was the precipitating factor in this attack, or merely incidental.
Let me know, if you need something more monosyllabic.

Was George Floyd’s race the precipitating factor or merely incidental? Looking for your honest opinion.

You just keep digging holes and give examples of what people say about you. You think you're so superior that you are the judge on this forum. You chime in to right the wrongs .. narcissistic personality 101

And another one. You really need to give your therapist access to your daily post on here. Whatever he is trying isn't working

In my opinion, incidental to his criminal behavior in the store and his subsequent behavior toward the officers. If a White or Latino suspect had behaved in exactly the same way, I have seen nothing to indicated that the officers would have behaved differently.
On the other hand, I have little doubt that FLOYD's racial perceptions may have colored the way that HE chose to behave.
Is that what you are asking?
