You’ll never win that argument. It’s a simple as one coached men’s basketball and the other women’s.

Brown could have been half as successful at LSU as he was and people would still argue he is “more deserving” for that one fact alone.

Ok, I'll say it. One coached in a highly competitive sport with a lot of pressure and visibility and created a winning program and set the bar for LSU basketball expectations. The other coached chick basketball. Sorry, i know we are supposed to pretend the 2 sports are equal but they just arent. Not many outside of LSU womens basketball know or care who Sue Gunter is.

It's 100% for political woke points. If they wanted to reward greatness, they'd be trying to name the track after Pat Henry or any number of people that have made LSU what it is. But they're specifically looking for a female to score woke points and its embarrassingly obvious.
