Say what you want about this team but the coach has not lost the locker room. These guys are playing hard and have taken some of Mizzou's best shots. If not for the turnovers and spots of bad defense they would be in this game and are amazingly only down by 11 with 7 min left. even with Mizzou shooting 50% from 3.Carter is a freak and Brown is a stud. Glad to see Ward get minutes. Needs to play more. Miller brings nothing to the table tonight.

Miller is shooting poorly and KJ keeps getting caught flat-footed or out of position under the basket.

ETA: But the fight is there, it really has been lacking much of this losing streak.

They’re playing faster. At the very least I’m happy they are trying something else.

They have had at least 8 opportunities to get this game to single digits. If they could just hit an open shot. And KJ is soft around the rim. Brown owns him under there and they are the same size. Fountain is playing his arse off tonight. needs to do that more consistently But Brown and Carter for mizzou will be playing in the NBA. We don't have anyone that will. KJ will be G league or bench warmer.

Maybe the coach should have recruited better players.

Also they finally played hard for the first time since Kentucky. Congrats, you still lost by 13

mcs, you’re soft as hell! CMM will not get fired unfortunately. Next year will most likely be worse. This hires has happened 1000’s of time. Sometimes you get a Bruce Pearl or a Wade! Most of the time you a CMM. Not a chance it works out.

- Should never be an issue that need even be discussed. It should be understood an expected.

I would say I do think they have mostly played hard. The Texas A&M game we did not from tip to final horn it was a pathetic effort, so much so I thought maybe the whole team had the flu or something.

And there were a couple of other games where after some initial effort we got behind and you could see the give up in their body language. But for the most part they've done what they should always do - play hard, you don't get a cookie for doing what you are supposed to do.

That does say a lot that the players haven't packed it in yet. It is just unfortunate how the season has gone and definitely need to get Ward more minutes. Although Hill did have a decent game for the first time in a while.

My biggest concern is KJ, he seems to have lost the fight in him. He is looking to just preserve his body for the draft

KJ has not adjusted to the physicality and athleticism of the SEC at all.

I know he is a good player but you can tell he has played in the OVC his entire career.

You sit here and all you do is condemn either the coach or the players. Ok they have long way to go, but they are still representing LSU Whether you like the product or not at least cheer for our tigers. You must one who can start something new and it is perfect the first time.

I mean Justice Williams brings nothing to the table. I would start ward over him or at least take more of his minutes. And I also agree that the effort KJ is giving is less than at the first of the year. He needs to be more physical like Fountain was last night. If Fountain played like that every night maybe it would push KJ to be also..

I haven't thought that. But the next few games will tell.

So if we only lose by 10 instead of 20, is that team not quitting? It was only 10 instead of 13 because another junk shot by Adam Miller finally found the basket after some of the most selfish and unproductive play I've seen from an LSU player in quite some time.

Glad the winning team's fanbase sees some positives in last night's ninth consecutive loss.
