Are there any in your area closing?
The one here in NELA never should’ve opened. I bet there were seriously angry rednecks when it did.
I spent a lot of money there. Ended up on the elite list.

WTF is this even supposed to mean? You think rednecks don't like big TVs?

When we bought our current house a few years ago, I bought all new appliances from there. I've also bought a couple of cheaper TVs for spare rooms from there, as well. I honestly haven't had bad experiences. I just shop online and pick it up locally

Bought a TV from a BR location last week.
They had in stock the one I wanted.
Same as Amazon pricing.

Owie-esque CSB time.
I used to get Sirius/xm gift cards from there so they wouldn't keep a card of mine on file. Anyways, I ordered one from best buy. It gets lost in the mail, so they re-issue it and I do in-store pickup instead. I go to the store and something has happened and the new card is not there. Whatever. I'm a laid back guy. Not the end of the world. Just a stupid gift card. The manager overhears what's going on and just gives me a handful of activated store gift cards for free and he refunds my money for the sirius/xm card. He's like "just take it. sorry about the mixup."
I go out to the parking lot and call corporate to tell them their manager was awesome (without narc'ing on him). A week later I get a $150 Best Buy gift card in the mail from corporate thanking me for letting them know their manager is awesome. No shite.
Two weeks later the gift cards lost in the mail show up.
I think I came out like $300 bucks ahead.

I have always liked shopping at Best Buy. The employees are very knowledgeable and helpful. About a year ago I purchased a 70 inch TV for my garage that was an open box return. Cost me much less and it has worked perfectly. It's the one store that I trust that the employees are giving me good information before I make a purchase.

Best Buy’s account name for this is Geek Fleece.

I’ve never had a bad experience at Best Buy. Laid back employees but good service, polite, and helpful. I’ve always found their prices to be pretty competitive as well.
They used to have the best warranties. I bought a tv there for a dorm room and the guy said the warranty is 30 bucks and covers anything. He said if anything, just break it right before and come get a new tv. I’m sure the good warranty has gone away.

I see a whole 4 stores out of 900 plus closing this year?

Best Buy tends to have pretty knowledgable staff and they’ll price match most online retailers

I've found that when buying appliances or electronics, Best Buy has them at the lowest prices when they're on sale.
Bought a few TVs, washer/dryer, small electronics and parts. All cheaper than competing brands.
Costco is the only other place I'd buy appliances from because their delivery also offers an appliance disposal.
Support the one by the Mall of LA. The manager there got in a really bad wreck outside of the mall entrance.
