so you did not see Rand Paul debate a huge throng on tv?
he was my pick for 2016.
he was AWFUL in the debates and he never got double digits in any state/commonwealth.

we must remember that bidens prior runs v gore and obama were similarly awful before he won South Carolina this time, his first ever. bernie beat him in the north.

Meh. He had to wake up from his nap after they refused to include him in the debate for so long.

Trump has 0 chance of winning the general election. He's lost at least a good 20% of people that voted for him twice

in the WSJ monthly approval poll trump has lost 6% of the whole in the past 6 months. he was at -19 last one. 59.5 disapprove
40.5 approve.

i saw a different one two days ago had trump approval at 39%. enough to nominate since only 6% dems approve.

if you have data on that 20% no longer on the train lets see the question.
i ended up voting for hubert humphrey after they killed senator robert kennedy.
humphrey was my 5th choice.
nixon was the devil as all now can see.
most on this board would vote pence if its
pence vs any of
vp kamala harris
gov newsome Ca
biden
sen. Amy klobuchar Mn

I'm all for Rand Paul and his values, but that'll never happen and everyone knows it. Yall want to talk about Trump not being able to win a shouldn't be the nominee? Paul had to suspend his campaign after getting what...5% support?

Okay

Rand Paul

He is the kind of guy we need in DC to get rid of atrocities like the ATF and the Dept of Education. He certainly would overhaul the CDC and curb spending. The last 4 Presidents set records on spending and on growing the government. We need someone who will really work hard to cut the size of government.

So, Ron wouldn't do all of these things?

He's already shown us this. Winning primaries isn't the goal.

Didn't he withdraw within two days to focus on his Senate campaign?

Trump lost by what..1%? Guess that means Paul lost by 25%. But he's more electable than Trump?

You using common core math or something?

In Iowa.

I'm not using Iowa as an indicator. I'm also explaining why you shouldn't, either.

You should also note that I said:

Rand Paul or Thomas Massie would be fantastic picks, which is why neither will ever happen.

If the primary in AZ was today, I'd vote for RDS but that's not etched in stone and we're a year out.

If RDS decided not to run, I'd want Trump of those that are likely to run.

Now that I agree with. He’s no longer a winning candidate which is why I strongly support DeSantis. If Trump is the nominee I would vote for him but with every expectation that he would lose again.

It doesn’t matter who the nominee is if there is no voting reform in the swing states. There is zero path to 270 no matter if it’s Trump or RDS running.
