They're all moving in the same direction at the guidance of one man.

We used to have a term for this...trying to think of what it was...

I don't think this is true. These guys literally went from "DeSantis will take us forward in 2028" a month ago to calling him an WEF traitor today.

Again... NOT true. I personally raised the question long before a month ago.

11/06/2022 was when the Article on Ken Griffin came out.

They're getting the same stuff from the same websites you do, hence you all start regurgitating the same talking points in perfect unison to accompany Trump's attacks

You guys will be off the island if you go "you know, the idea that DeSantis is deep state because Bolton expressed a liking for him 3 years ago is pretty dumb when my guy actually hired him and gave him authority"

Desantis is captured, he has been selected by the rino's as the sheep's next leader.

So getting news is now what we should not do?

Very very uneducated view. That's really ignorance Petti. And the truth is, you won't even entertain the idea of an actual conversation on it.

It's looking more and more like what I said. You just want people to not care, be quite and move on.

I promise you...If it's Ron or Biden or Newsome...it will be Ron all day long with any Trump supporter.

You have to remember what Rush used to say...they are desperate to separate Trump supporters from Trump.

This means they will use DeSantis or anyone to achieve this.

There isn't any sense in talking to someone about ideology or practicality when the other person is only focused on doing what they're told.

I've said on multiple occasions that DeSantis could, like most politicians, be a disappointment. That's still very true. But I'm not going to pretend you're not doing the bidding of Trump and the pro-Trump contingents you serve and are instead genuinely concerned about DeSantis and his associations.

It's particularly laughable when you express no such concerns about Trump's much more concrete associations with the GOPE you claim to oppose.

I'm just trying to relay to you that you do have a choice, and you can exercise some independent thought without betraying Trump.

Yes worry about the state and local areas.

The shadow government has an iron grip on the federal elections and that is all they care about.

What?

Trump is the only major source of division among Trump and DeSantis supporters right now. Prior to election night it was widely predicted Trump would start underhanded trashing of DeSantis because he sees him as a threat, but there was little actual animosity. That changed when Trump began his attacks, because many of his supporters are bound to hate DeSantis now, as you see from JJ and others.

When Trump patches it up with DeSantis temporarily, suddenly none of them will talk about WEF again. And then when Trump gets mad and attacks him again, DeSantis becomes a deep state agent again. It's just how it works.

Then we are having this conversation. Like it or not

trump better not be the populist standard bearer. hes exactly and entirely corporate.

he intersects with populism in style. hes demagogue but seen as populist.

what populist ideals did trump implement during his 2 years of both houses?
free college? no.
wifi for more? no.
low cost medical? no, 2 tries to repeal obamacare.
homes for homeless? nah.

what?

fwiw voting for us senate is populism. and half this board wants state legislators to vote us senate.

Doesn't really matter anymore as both will not be allowed to win regardless if people like them or not.

I'm not convinced of that, but I agree it ultimately doesn't matter that much if we're talking big picture.

I would prefer, of course, not to pay 60% in taxes while I watch the continued decline of the country, so there is that.

You have a pretty weird sense of humor if the ramifications of Guantanamo Bay detention policies make you laugh out loud. I'm more of an "adult cartoon with wisecracking robot/baby" guy.

A warerboarding / interrogation video might, or even good enough audio. This isn't 2002 anymore. Drooliani isn't Murica's Murr and Osama bin Laden is fish food.

I get where you're coming from, but people watched terrorists burn American cities on live TV while the anchors said it wasn't happening. They're watching elementary schools say that men can get pregnant.

It's getting harder to generate outrage. We're all fatigued from scandal or claimed scandal and I'm not sure DeSantis sitting in on Ibrahim getting waterboarded is really going to do very much. Media would go wall to wall, I just don't think Americans would care.
