Donate to the "Bayou Traditions NIL Collective" for some kid that I've never met, who has parents, and may or may not transfer after a year or two?

Sure, I'll do that instead of investing, funding my own retirement, purchasing a vacation cabin, supporting my kid's, and my grandkid's 529 accounts.

Yeah...okay...sure, where should I send my money?

ETA: I encourage all of you that donate or that are thinking about donation to take a moment and think about all of the other places - charity, religious organizations, children's hospitals - that can use the money instead of this. However, it's your money. Do as you wish.

This is an adult response. Prepare yourself for the adolescent, both in age and maturity, to attempt to drag you.

It's the unfortunate reality of CFB recruiting for the foreseeable future

It's ok to think this is ridiculous and not send the collective one cent of your money. But if that's the attitude of the majority of the fanbase, then you also have to accept the fact that less recruits will ultimately show up on campus.

My guess is a large number of fans won't support this, and simultaneously bitch that BK can't recruit and is being "outworked" when LSU has the #12 class instead of the #4 class.

Only thing to add here is a large percentage of people that will subscribe to this don’t see it’s the exact same thing as onlyfans, which they would absolutely never subscribe to

I hear The Vatican had a down year. Maybe Scientology could use some extra bucks to locate Miscavige‘s wife.

Thanks for setting us straight!

If $10 /month keeps you from doing those things then you're probably not the audience they are going after.

Sorry to tell you Mr Jones, but $100 ain’t going to do Jack squat for retirement/529s. That’s gas, ice and bait split with buddies for a fishing trip, if you’re lucky. 10-20 trips to a coffee shop. This is low entry level way to take ownership in something many folks are passionate about and does not preclude the ability to fully and gently fund everything you mentioned. What the frick kind of vacation cabin are you getting for a couple hundred bucks a year. ??
