Great white shark decapitates Mexican diver

Two other fishermen who were with him at the time of the attack said that Lopez was decapitated.
"He was diving when the animal attacked him, impressively ripping off his head and biting both shoulders," Jose Bernal, a man speaking for the fisherman, said about the attack.

One thing I am fairly certain of in this world is that I'm almost 100% guaranteed not to be decapitated by a great white shark whilst I'm sitting on my porch drinking a beer.

A similar incident happened several years ago near Mendocino CA. A great white bit the head off an abalone diver. Great whites don't like to eat people, but if you are making movements in the water that resemble their favorite snacks, like seals and sea lions, they will take a bite and spit you out when they realize their mistake. Too late.
