LOL I told y'all this would happen. This is a MVC roster trying to play in the SEC. The SEC might not be as dominant as previous years, but you won't win with a mid-level power 5 roster. Just can't do it.

Our transfer class was ranked 11th nationally and our freshman class was ranked 17th plus we returned 3 players who had started a combined 76 games for 3 teams that went 65-29 and made the NCAA Tourney as 1, 6, and 8 seeds. This is a coaching issue period.

If he can’t finish middle of the conference next year, thank him for his service.

You would think playing the lessor teams we would at least sharpen our game, but now we are going the wrong direction. Doesn't seem to be any energy on the court. That was pitiful the other night.

He's not a good coach. You can argue anything about his roster coming in isn't talented but how he's handling the games shows he's in way over his head. It's that simple. He won't be here past year 3. I don't know what his buyout is but if it's large he'll be here a few more years.

Enjoy Mulkey and the women because men aren't worth watching at any capacity right now. Only way for them to clean this up is stop going to games completely and keep the PMAC empty.

Maybe they ask Mulkey if she's willing to coach the men next year probably would do a better job than most men in NCAA basketball.

I said early in the season LSU struggling with literally back to back worst teams in Div 1 that I was going to be a LONG season. Of course I was down voted into oblivion by the WE SO GOOD crowd. Now that crowd is in full melt.

This is not football. This line of thinking is not very intelligent. Watch the Big Dance one year. Schools that don’t even have football are competitive in basketball. McMahon is a good coach and will get it figured out. People that are being overly critical are either not LSU fans or baseball only a holes.

Pretty sure the record in the next half of the schedule will be much better compared to the first half.

Since Kentucky this team has done nothing to lead us to that assumption. This team is regressing. LSU looks like a random sunbelt school out there.

Are we talking football or basketball?
Arkansas and T A&M come to mind.

Well we beat Arkansas a few weeks ago - last night we embarrassed ourselves.

It’s a pretty drastic change.

Those rankings are high just because we have s decent number of recruits, not necessarily because our overall talent was that good. I mean our transfer ranking was high because we basically fielded a new team. And while we ranked 17th with freshmen, the average ranking in that class would have had us well into the 20's.

For example, Houston's frosh class was ranked 29th. They only had 2 recruits. However one was the 11th ranked player in the country, and the 2nd guy was the 40th. Would you not take their class over ours every day of the week? And that is before you see what little our 34th ranked prospect is contributing.

Yeah, we all know that Adam Miller was somehow starting for that Illinois team. Lot of good that is doing us.

This team isn’t all that great, and yes, we had a weak out of conference slate. No doubt this team has limitations in terms of personnel, but we shouldn’t be getting absolutely housed every night. Things have greatly deteriorated. In a very basic sense, I don’t know where else to place this but on coaching. Other teams figuring us out, and our having no other plan or ability to execute any other plan besides a slow grinding halfcourt offense.

Apparently, there’s a cancer in the locker room. That’s as much as I’m saying.

They were the better team for a large part of the K-state game. If we played them this weekend they would beat us by 20+, that is kinda crazy to think about.
yep. I disagree with everybody saying we are the same team. I know we were never good, but this is worse than that Antonio Blakeney/Brandon Sampson 2 SEC win team.

We have no pulse on offense whatsoever.

The whole team forgot how to put the ball in the basket over the course of a month. But for real though the shooting has been the worst I’ve seen at lsu since I can remember. Trent johnson didn’t even have shooters this bad.
