So what if he's found innocent, or the charges are dropped? Couldn't they just suspend him until it's over? The case is sealed and pretrial isn't for a couple months, do they have some info the public doesn't have?

They should just do what they did to Rosanne Barr and just kill off Rick and Morty, re-title the show "The Smiths" and keep the money train going with Jerry, Summer, and Beth.

That's what I'm assuming. The shite has to be pretty bad that they drop him all together. Cartoon Network has historically stood behind controversy and controversial content. So I can't image them pulling the cord unless they absolutely had to.
That said, I don't know how they do it without him but with Rick and Morty's popularity they may be able to bring someone in that can voice the characters. I think Harmon can handle the content creation himself.

I believe there's been some other accusations with approaching minors, but he hasn't been charged with anything like that at this point so I don't know how much is behind that.
I think the timing is interesting. If the initial charges happened in 2020, I can't help but think they probably found out about some really damming evidence at the pre-trial.
