NPR already reporting it will be “really bad” when it happens by Summer.
SUMMER??? Really? It’s freakin’ January and the liberals are hand wringing already. Looming recession. Bad unemployment. So bad. “C’mon bro, we gotta raise the debt ceiling”
Guess what, this has happened time and again. Doom and gloom. Apocalypse talk. And yet here we are in 2023, still alive.
Why must they turn every freaking thing into a crisis.

Technically we are set to hit the debt ceiling today. Now we're at the point we are picking what bills to pay on time vs pay late. At some point there won't be enough collections to cover the interest expense. Rising interest rates gets us their quicker.
