One thing I also recently heard that was very persuasive was that the entire western world and beyond have invested so much in us and they bet on us, not China. I wish I could regurgitate the convincing details, but hopefully it will suffice that we are all locked beyond a point of return together and most of the money is betting even if everything goes to shite, we will still be the ones that arise from the proverbial ashes. Not China.

God I wish I could remember which show I heard it on. If I can figure it, I'll update.

Just one stat: Market Cap of all firms listed on NYSE is $26.2 trillion.

Ok, two facts: including all stock exchanges in the US, that number rises to $40 trillion.

This has been the thought/case for a verrry long time, and why our debit keeps getting racked up onto the backs of future generations.
