It’s like the Curb Your Enthusiasm where Larry debates who knows more about drugs: the doctor or the pharmacist.

Why go to the doctor if you don't follow his recommendations?

Amazing some people have no idea how the world works.

Doctor sends in a prescription, pharmacist checks it to make sure dosing is appropriate and directions are clear. Half of your family med clinics have an LPN send in an electronic script that was mistyped or put in for the wrong dose or quantity

My wife is a ER Pharmacist at Sarasota hospital and has been in that position for 24 years. I promise you I do know how it works

500 mg? That's like 500,000 mcg. Report this doctor for malpractice right away, that's waaay too many micrograms.

That’s nice. I also work inpatient. I can promise you pharmacists at CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, etc are not setting the dosages for antibiotics patients bring in. Occasionally they will call and ask for help, but its not often.
Hospital pharmacy is different. We get consults all the time for antibiotic dosing

I cant tell you what retail pharmacist do but I can tell you what she does because I hear about it every day from her and her dorky friends who hang out at my house all week.

I have made fun of her profession (light heartedly) for many years telling her that she could be replaced by a vending machine but in reality, they do a lot more than people think at her job. No need to explain, it appears most hear already know more about it. LOL. She works in the ER on a crisis team and I promise you she doses many of the drugs that is administered

So the doctor should risk missing something, like a pneumonia, or worse because you don't want to be truly checked out? Trial lawyer's field day.

Bacterial Sinusitis is very difficult to clear up due to the anatomy.

I just keep a supply on hand for my goldfish. Fishmox is legit. Same stuff in it for people or fish. Just cheaper and no scripts needed.
