wasn't this the same situation as Waco? The FBI and ATF were both itching for an excuse to swing their dicks around and get some media coverage?

Yeah, I was in my early teens when this happened and I remember it was pretty much reported that there was a crazy man in Waco who were holding people hostage, including kids.

Of course I wasn't paying all that close attention to the news, but it wasn't until they had a show or series awhile back about it that I learned about the details and how the FBI pretty much fricked the whole thing up. I think Ruby Ridge happened before Waco, but they happened relatively close to each other.

Waco is different in that there was some fricked up shite going on, but they didn't have to handle it the way they did.

David Koresh being a kid diddler in a house full of kids makes Waco a little different, IMO. It was awful what happened to everyone else, but Koresh couldn't have burned to death slowly enough.
