What is this websites obsession with the word ‘cuck’?

For the past two or three years, I see this word tossed around like OWEO’s mom in college.. most of the time when it’s used it doesn’t even make sense when you consider the context
So I’m here to ask, what is this place’s obsession with this word? Why does everyone love it so much?
