Pels vs Nets: Fuggem by 50_Tiger
Come back to this when we go 0-5 on this road trip lol
JV sucks. Dude is soft as cotton. He needs to hit the weights. Did you the size of his arms? They look like baby arms...reason he gets stripped so much. I'm ready to move on from him. Why pay a guy if he can't finish games 80% of the time.

But blowing a double-digit halftime lead at home on the first night of a B2B when the second game on the road is not good.
What did you expect to happen tonight? Honestly. I mean just look at the starting lineups or the spread. We were not supposed to win this game. It would have been a fantastic win, instead it's just what was expected. The loss to the Lakers early in the season was a bad loss, this was just a loss.

I always expect a win, why would I watch if I didn't?
It's the fricking NBA. The Hornets bitchslapped the Bucks tonight.

Wow, great job of copy and pasting.

Bruh, we got outworked by Nic Claxton and Royce O'neale.
bullshite. It was NOT about effort. It was a lot of being out of position because you’re paying so much attention to Durant and Irving. That’s part of what makes them so great. When AD constantly talks about Zion’s gravity that’s a lot of what he means. Can’t stand when trash like you pisses all over this teams effort. It’s garbage.

In some alternate dimension, Claxton is a Pelican.
Dude is a beast on defense. He'd fit right in here.

We 100% got outworked by Claxton and O'Neale.

Go follow a different team if you think this one isn’t putting out effort. Why be a “fan” of this lazy team then??

And the Hornets were fully healthy and the Bucks were missing Middleton. Crazy how whether or not your stars play makes a difference.

Well said. And so true.
It was not well said at all.
This board is getting way too comfortable with moral victories because we were atop the standings at one point this season. Heaven forbid someone be disappointing in the way we blew a double-digit halftime lead at home before going on a long road trip.
Meanwhile, we're losing ground on the Nugs and Grizzlies because they are actually getting victories. It sucks that we're always hurt, but this is the NBA and moral victories don't mean jack shite for seeding in the playoffs. We have one of the deepest teams in the league, need to play like it, especially on nights like tonight when KD and Kyrie actually played like shite.

Holy gatekeeping batman.
So no one can be upset about losses because we'll always have someone injured?

Nah, I like following this one.
You can frick off though if you don't like me here. Or just RA me and see if you can get me banned if you really want to be a bitch.

You’re a piece of shite. Trash like you would just make an alter and go back to badmouthing the team. It’s what garbage like you does.
Posted on 1/6/23 at 9:26 pm to Broski
You didn't understand. The part I agreed with was:
"Can’t stand when trash like you pisses all over this teams effort. It’s garbage."

Injuries are poor excuse for this one. You win the 1H going away, hold Kyrie and Durant to 16/48 shooting at home, you need to win this one. At the end of the day you gave them too many extra possessions via offensive rebounds and TOs.

He wasn't even talking about the loss dumbass, he was talking about KD's impact on the game. Take your crazy pills and keep up.

Who the hell is talking about moral victories? There's a difference between thinking this wasn't a BAD loss than thinking it was a moral victory. Literally nobody is saying it was a moral victory. I hate that term so that's sure as hell not the argument I'm making. But I know this loss isn't the end of the world and that if this team had just one of its two best players, we win the game. It's pretty simple.

Look dumb arse, there is no such thing as a moral victory. Every L counts the same. We lost because JV couldn’t finish around the basket (and got no whistles) and our role players couldn’t knock down threes in the second half ( whereas their role players did) and every loose ball seemed to find a Net. This was a bad loss because we put ourselves in position to win but didn’t come through and we now head out on a long road trip. But to blame it on a lack of effort is disgusting. Of course consider the trash saying that.

The play tonight was to go to our bigs. Pels without Slim and our Husky boy leaned in to everything attacked from the perimeter. They played just well enough to get slayed at the end.
