The parents, who most likely are the legal owners of this gun, are so fricked

The demographics of Newport News make this story predictable.

Richneck Elementary School placed in the bottom 50% of all schools in Virginia for overall test scores (math proficiency is bottom 50%, and reading proficiency is bottom 50%) for the 2018-19 school year.
The percentage of students achieving proficiency in math is 76% (which is lower than the Virginia state average of 82%) for the 2018-19 school year. The percentage of students achieving proficiency in reading/language arts is 68% (which is lower than the Virginia state average of 78%) for the 2018-19 school year.
The student:teacher ratio of 18:1 is higher than the Virginia state level of 14:1.
Minority enrollment is 74% of the student body (majority Black), which is higher than the Virginia state average of 54% (majority Black).
I'll go with a shitty parent. Doubt the kid has two at home.

It's Newport News, there's only 1 "parent" in that household

Who writes these shite articles? Critically ill is not the same as critically injured. The teacher is not ill, she is fricking shot.

He wanted his reparations!

That teacher going to think twice about fricking with nap time again.

The kid is most likely living with his single mom whose supervision of him is less than adequate. He has probably seen people resolve their differences by shooting each other.

Kid was like touch my juice box again.

I don’t think a 6 year old can even be held responsible in any way, legally. Little kids have license to kill.

STFU with that. Not your time in the spotlight.
