Best places to stay in San Antonio

Going to the San Antonio rodeo in February. What are some of the best places to stay near all the rodeo events.

My wife and I stayed at the Hilton on the Riverwalk and thought it was nice.

Don't stay near the rodeo. AT&T isn't exactly in a great part of town. Stay on the riverwalk or out at La Canterra.

Last time we were in San Antone, we stayed at the Bonner House Bed and Breakfast. It was really nice. Make sure the stay in the servant's quarters.

I don't know where the rodeo is but I like the Menger Hotel across from the Riverwalk.

We enjoyed staying at Arbor House in downtown San Antonio. Rustic, small, nice outdoor gardens.

If you like Historic hotels then the Menger Hotel is the one you want to go to. Lots of Historic things in the hotel as well. My wife and I stay there all the time when in SA. It it literally right next to the Alamo and about a block off the River walk.

Stayed at Hotel Valencia on the riverwalk in January, highly recommend.
