Gas prices and the prices of goods and services is on the rise again. In other news Biden is on Vacation again and sampling the local ice cream in the tropics at tax payer expense.

Gas prices in the Orange Beach, Gulf Shores are have gone up 30-50 cents a gallon in the last 7 days. Grocery prices have risen roughly 3-5 percent over the same period.

Paid $2.46/gallon on 12/27 and today it was $3.09/gallon at the same location. Over a 25% increase in one week. I get holiday travel possibly increasing demand but this run up is after Christmas.

I used to volunteer at a nursing home. Dementia patients had a unit with its own dining room. They requested ice cream all the time. A nurse told me that it has a calming effect, at least temporarily.

Prices started going up on Christmas Eve when the markets were shut down. Absolutely no reason for a 20% hike in a week
