Every profession is voluntarily chosen.
But I completely agree with what you are trying to say here. Football is a dangerous game, but it's not even remotely comparable to any of those professions. Football players aren't "putting their lives on the line" anymore so than someone is driving to work every day.

Agree but society would be greatly impacted if people chose NOT to do the jobs listed above. NFL is purely entertainment. If that went away, people would just find something else to entertain themselves.
