Proud as Hell of my Alma Mater Tonight (Booger/RC)

Not to take away from the gravity of the situation, but Booger McFarland and Ryan Clark have represented LSU very well on air tonight. In addition to being elite athletes who excelled at the highest level, it’s clear both of these guys obviously learned a lot about life and what really matters during their time on campus, and are doing an excellent job articulating that for the rest of us. Both of them are a huge credit to LSU and the State of Louisiana! Proud they are Tigers!

RC kinda threw Gerry Dinardo under the bus there. Anyone know which injured player it was he was talking about at LSU?

I was ok with that

Booger was fine as always, but Ryan Clark immediately made it about himself and then doubled down by shitting on LSU and Dinardo.

He was a freshman during the 1997 season. Only one that I can remember that year was a Cecil Collins vs Vandy. It might have been somebody else earlier that season but I can’t remember.

Booger’s finest hour, IMO.

What Clark said made no sense unless it happened in a practice. "Move the ball 10 yards and let's play."

RC was talking about practice. Coach moved the ball fifteen yards and practice continued. Probably happens all the time. Happened to me my senior year of college when I tore an ACL making a cut upfield on shitty Omniturf. One minute you are right in the middle of it. The next you are a spectator. Think that’s all he was saying.

No he didn’t.

Either you’re a fricking moron or are intentionally misrepresenting what he said because you want to defend him. He was obviously implying that player safety has always been a problem and he used your beloved Alma Mater to do it.

It sounded like he was just giving a first hand example of how most injuries are handled by the coaches, players and staff once you get to a high level of football and how this one was different and the significance of how the Bills and Bengals handled it.

Booger and the rest of the pundits just followed marching orders from their elite executives! Right to player safety and postponement!
Well, I hope the money was worth the sell out!

He absolutely did NOT. He was asked to share his experience.

Clark’s attempt at comparing football players to first responders as far as putting their lives on the line when they go to work was fricking typical Clark and very tone deaf. Dude just talks too fricking much.

Wake up and smell the roses!

Ryan Clark genuinely believes the NFL oppresses players and they’re making some grand sacrifice by playing.

Now I agree with this wholeheartedly. He can make a good point and immediately negate it with some bullshite because he just won’t shut the frick up.

My gosh, they all talked too much. They had nothing to bring to us so they just fill with nonsense! In the end I am better off just switching channels then listening to thier crap!
