No spotting scope. I have binos anr monocular. Use both regularly. Hunt a 500yd pipeline on one side, and 300yd plot on other. Saves me from constantly pickn up gun to look through scope

My thing is they are fun for looking at stuff, but it generally doesn't do anybody any good to study a deer in detail from 1500 yards away if you can't go get it. It's fun to look at, but you can't kill it.
Spotting scopes are for western hunting and the gun range IMO.
