Harbor, who is committing on Feb. 1, has already taken official visits to Maryland, Michigan and South Carolina. He also shared that a possible official to LSU is “most likely not” happening.

That will likely be a wrap on his recruitment

Interesting how he really emphasized track and kind of put Lanning and the football side of things secondary, at least that’s how I read it. Dude has major potential, but I do wonder if he ultimately solely focuses on track eventually. Oregon came out of left field for his recruitment. Guessing it’s a showdown between Michigan, Oregon, and South Carolina, now.

He’s a 5 star athlete but there are some concerns he’s not a 5 star football player. At least from the UGA side. I wouldn’t worry too much if you miss out on him.

Damn what a waste of time all those threads were

“But they’re [Oregon] just (telling) me that I could be the next great USA runner. That’s where I see myself at because I’m doing some unspeakable stuff, some unheard of stuff. With that, it’s just gonna keep getting better and better.”
He also says he doesn't want to bulk up. Wants to stay 6'5" and 225 lbs.
quote:
a lot of people want to see me on the defensive side. But, you know, 250 (pounds), 260, 245 (isn’t) going to work in my favor because the bigger you get, the (more) the speed declines. That’s the biggest part of my game, it’s the speed.”
He should just focus on track. Best case is a big special WR. Definitely not a TE as LSU would see it.

Pimpton has the potential to be a cheat code too

our insiders
Ricks to LSU
Harbor to LSU
Pimpton to stick with Vandy
not even worth a dollar for one year

Got no problem missing out on this one if he is leaning towards track. You put time in and then he decides track is what he wants. Then you miss out on another guy.

It’s insane to me a football player who is also serious about track and field won’t even consider LSU. Is he blind, can he read?Does he know the people we have produced? Makes zero sense. Oh well more power to him

Pimpton a better TE overall than Harbor. He is soft on the football field and track is his primary concern. If he comes to LSU to play football but mostly for track, then fine. If he does not come here, no big loss.

Man, seems as if we have the worst insiders to ever inside

The suggestion that he would choose Oregon because it's the best possible combination of football and track is -- especially wrt to LSU -- absurd.
Choosing Oregon bc Phil Knight & Nike are going to pay him the most is entirely understandable, especially if it's significantly more than his other offers.
