This makes no sense. Harbor will be in college this coming year.

No, bruh.

The problem with Harbor and LSU is where to put him. We have a star tight end and a plethora of recruits already there, and with the track thing Jack Linebacker is a bit of a tough sell.

But now? Now you just tell hom you have an outside receiver job open for the taking and it's his if he can beat out Lacy and Sampson.

And that the guy he'd be replacing caught 48 passes this year without even playing that well and he missed multiple games.

We go from having one of the weaker pitches role-wise among the teams recruiting him to having the strongest.

It's all good. Iam the king of brain farts. Luckily I have fine posters on here to show me the errors of my ways and always correct my spelling. Were in the hell were they 35 years ago. I might have been a Rhodes scholar with their help.

Well, if Hilton leaves I would think it's a no-brainer that you take Thomas.

Or if Kendrick Law or Shazz Preston want to join Anderson in coming back home maybe we do that.

I think we're seeing Kelly make this his team quicker than anybody thought. I'll bet he was ecstatic to get rid of Boutte.

You might be right. Wide receiver is the best position to play if you're cross-training as a sprinter.

Agreed. Not terribly surprising that he may encourage some guys to move on since he said that by the time fall practice starts they will have turned over like 70 scholarships

I didn’t get the sense he loved what he inherited for lots of reasons

There was always room for him if he wanted in. We will see about the visit!

I didn't love what he inherited either.

Trash culture the last few years. Showed up on the field. We were on the arse end of 16 years being coached by buffoons and there was very little to like about that team.

Honestly, the more attrition from that roster the better. Kelly's people are better than Orgeron's.

This is the only correct answer. Tealeaves lead you to believe he's the top guy on the board(including commits) overall. Very likely the most purely talented kid in the class nationally. Can't teach his speed and athleticism at that size. Just get him and figure out what to do with him. If track love wins out then oh well. Get him if you can.

We aren't talking about whether there is room for him.

We're talking about whether we can sell him on an immediate identifiable opportunity to start.

We didn't really have it, or at least not at a position he wants to play. Now we do.

I'm gonna say we might very well get him now. If he visits, hold that tiger.

With harbor we would be playing a 2 TE system.

This is why the portal is full. Promising kids that have never faced 11 on 11 competition like they will in college a spot is a bad strategy. Promise them the opportunity to compete and let the best man win. Lots of all world high schoolers that fold once the man on the other side is just as good as they are.
