Landowners score a win.

LINK

quote:

The injunction issued by the Judge requires the deer dog owners to keep their animals off of the landowner’s property permanently; and creates a presumption that if the named Defendants are parked on the public road adjoining the Plaintiffs’ property, they are in violation of the Chancellor’s order.”

Dog owners could sit on the public right-of-way and say they were just trying to call up their animals

They look too good to be a pack of deer dogs, although I guess they are. They look more like a pack of foxhounds. Most deer dogs don’t look near that good.

bullshite. I’m not a dog hunter, but I have a bunch if friends that are. They take better care of those dogs than most people do with their poodle mix house dog.

I am not going to speak to the condition of ALL deer dogs. But the ones I would see in Iberville looked pretty rough. Ribs showing, dirty, missing fur.

I just pulled it from the article. Figured it was just a stick photo that would rustle some Jimmies on here.

It worked.

I guess we’re doing it all wrong. Ours are healthy and well cared for. But I know we don’t live up to the OB’s expectations of trashy deer dog hunters.

I have family that coon hunted hard when I was younger. Some of the Blueticks and Redbones were the prettiest dogs you would see. Other hunters left theirs in shitty conditions.

REB BEER glad to see your pooches are living a good life. Keep hunting!

My father in law was a big dog hunter back in the day and he would do this too... his explanation was that he couldn't help if the dogs couldn't read posted signs. I know at least one of his dogs was shot by an irate landowner.

Those are weekend kennels at the camp. The ones they normally live in are much nicer.

ETA: I was showing the healthy dogs, not the shitty kennels.

I would think y'all are doing it right. I think we all know what kind of hunters are talked about in the article. Probably the same people that shot the Livingston deer.

I could baiting, but I dont know how youd ban food plots. I guess if there is no equipment or attempt to harvest what is planted.
